MWDOC Earns Multiple Awards at the 44th Annual OCPRSA PROTOS Awards Gala

MWDOC EARNS MULTIPLE AWARDS AT THE 44TH ANNUAL OCPRSA PROTOS AWARDS GALA

Fountain Valley, CA (September 27, 2019) – The Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC or District) was awarded with six regional honors for its outstanding efforts in public relations, program development, and communication strategies. The District earned the prestigious PROTOS Award and five Awards of Excellence in the categories of Corporate Identity, Community Relations/Institutional Programs, Broadcast Productions, Press Kit – Hard Copy and Electronic, and Social Media Programs respectively. The awards were presented by the Orange County Public Relations Society of America (OCPRSA) at the 44th annual OCPRSA PROTOS Awards Gala on September 26, 2019.

“Our Public Affairs team has set the water industry standard for branding, program innovation, social media, and partnerships,” said Brett R. Barbre, MWDOC Board President. “These six awards are a testament to the dedication and skills of our District employees who understand the communication needs and vision of the agency.” Each year, the OCPRSA PROTOS Awards Gala honors the region’s top public relations and communications professionals for their exceptional outreach contributions. PRSA is the nation’s largest national association of public relations professionals.
